This is probably a stupid question,but can you buy extended warranty if you buy the bike second hand but it is still in factory warranty?If so how much does the policy usually cost.I would love to have it if it is not terribly expensive.Any help would be appreaciated.

Yes, you can do it but you have to check with your local dealer about costs.

 

IIRC, you can buy the HD Extended Service Plan from an HD dealer (shop around for the best price, especially Zanotti's) as long as you purchase the ESP before the factory two year warranty expires.

As for whether it will be "terribly expensive" or not, only you can decide.
