Default DONE!!!! Alpine 9887 head unit, Arc Audio mini and Boston Acoustics Pro50's!!!!

This system by far sounds GREAT!!!! That lil Arc is a power house!!!! I just turn up the volume and grin. LOL

I get a little extra power cause the Bostons are 3 ohm vs 4 ohm. Not worried about the Arc heating up either...runs nice and cool.

The 9887 is so versatile...easy to set-up. I got it dialed in (pretty much) in about 15 minutes.

Just need to wire up the PAC SWI-JACK. I kinda ran out of time and will do it later.

I just keep listening & grinning! LMAO

I assume you are talking about the Boston Acoustics...? A few reasons why...1) they are 3 ohm vs 4 ohm (a little more power..not much, but more), 2) they have the vari-mount tweeter (they mount like a coaxial), 3) the xovers are 2 piece (easier to place and mount under the fairing) and 4) Boston Acoustics just ROCK (I had a couple pairs of the old ProSeries a few years back and can handle anything you threw at them).

Pics...? LOL Am I the ONLY one who doesn't take time to take pics? I need to snap a few...I still haven't taken any of the taller bars and painted inner fairing either. Time for a new signature pic. LOL

Geez, I wished I understood this stuff better? Still wrestling with simple things like 3 ohms more powerful than 4 ohms. Huh? Then you throw in "vari-mount tweeter (they mount like a coaxial), 3) the xovers are 2 piece (easier to place and mount under the fairing) and 4) Boston Acoustics just ROCK (I had a couple pairs of the old ProSeries" and I'm totally lost. Thaniks, I think. Guess I'll just crank up the volume button and maybe put in some R-Blox. Not knocking it, just wish I understood it!

I'm sure there are quite a few people who would be interested in your write up about the PAC SWI JACK install. I know I am!! I still need to wire mine up and have been waiting for someone to take plenty of pics along with a good write up so I don't mess it up.
