Rain X on windshield

Pledge works great, except...
Pledge works great but noticed on several occasions where bees like it too. They were buzzing around where I sprayed the lemon pledge. The pledge made it easy to take the bugs off the windshield, head lights, etc. and left a nice shine too. Plus, you can use it on your furniture too without a waxy buildup...

I have used rain x on my clearview windshield with no problems and good results.I used the original formula.

Amen to that. Putting anything on for rain protection is a waste of time. For bugs I use Original Spray Cleaner And Polish. I think it's known now as Original Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner And Polish. If I dare say: it actually works better than Pledge.

And then there is Clearview which advises with their installation instructions that the Original Rain X, Plexus or yes, even Pledge is recommended to clean their shields. So, if in doubt check with the people who made it. I use all three including a wet, warm towel soaked in water and they are all good but when you come right down to it bug guts stick like crazy when you smack em at 75 mph on a hot day so you will have to clean them off. Just part of riding fast. I don't pick up many bugs at 60 mph but over that they are bad.
