Well the journey trying to come to terms with the Corbin dual tour has ended. Just not the seat for me, I tried for 2800 miles to love it but its just not happening.

Ordered a one piece Mustang touring seat with rider backrest Saturday. Hopefully it will be the Holy Grail of seats Ive been searching for.

Anybody running this set up? Likes, Dislikes?

So far been through the stock seat, H-D Reach seat, Corbin dual tour, now the Mustang. This is getting expensive.

What'll you take for the Dual Tour Corbin?

I suggest your take your stock seat and trim to fit. Comfortable seating is all about removing hot spots by evening out weight distribution.

I also tried the Mustang Seat, the one piece touring seat, found that it did not support my back or butt, too low, I do not use a back rest, just don't like them. I have a Saddlemen Road Sofa in leather waiting for my bike to be put back together, I hit a deer at 55 mph, did damage to the bike and myself. I broke seven ribs on my left side and some of the ribs I broke fron and back. total of 11 breaks. The Saddlemen has some great ideas on seat construction, check them out and you have 48 hours to try and you can send it back.

I've tried H-D(stock),Corbin,LePera,Saddleman and Mustang.I personally like the Mustang and I thing you've made a good choice. The Mustang seat is softer than the Corbin but it's firm enough for the long haul.Let us know how you like it.

I just did 3300 miles on my Mustang one piece touring seat with mustang backrest. I've tried the stocker, the BADX stocker mod ($220), and the Road Zeppelin. My favorite comfort wise was the Zep but it's rear seat is uncomfortable for my passenger. She loved the BADX mod, but it was too narrow for me. The Mustang has the perfect width for both of us and is stiff enough to be comfortable. My only issue with it is that it's not got a leather cover and in the summer.....well.....you end up with swamp-***!

My 05 RG, had a stock ULTRA seat on it... I tried a Mustang one piece tour, I was too far back, and up for my stubby legs... next came the Corbin Rumble seat... too far back... had to strech for the controls. Swapped the Mustang for a corbin stinger... again with the reaching, and that caused my neck to ache... Back to the Ultra...Wound up with a REACH seat... I use my Mustang backrest, and this "seems" to be the trick... for me
I feel your pain (in the wallet)

Mustang ultra touring seat w/Hd adjustable back rest. Had the combo on my 02 Ultra and then put the same combo on my 06 Rg I bought last year.
