Bike back home again
Just got my bike back from the dealer. 02 Electra Glide Classic, I bought it used last Sept and put on about 1400 miles until weather turned here in Pa. Took it out couple weeks ago for a ride and found oil seep in rear cylinder, I thought it was a head gasket. Dealer checked it out and said it was a bad cylinder. He found that in the cylinder there was a pourios area (bad casting). He replaced the rear jug ,piston and rings at no charge. Didn't even have to beg. How's that for a dealer. A 1 in my book, of coarse I have bought two bikes and quite a few grand in chrome in the past two years.

RE: Bike back home again
In business, and as this market also gets tighter, it is the service to customers that will seperate the the dealers who survive. In all demand markets, there have been many fools that made it big only because they were on the big wave. As supply meets demand, those who once were able to live on the numerous one time customers, will meet the day where they will be standing scratching their heads wondering what went wrong as their once successful Harley shop is quietly takens over by a new owner.... and he is down the road kicking a can with nothin but his hands in his pockets.... I pay tribute to your dealer...
