Heated gloves do it for me with a temp. controller and a heated jacket liner!

another voice for heated gear. I have Gerbing gloves, and jacket liner.... and a dual controller. get a CONTROLLER..... you regulate the heat level as you ride.
Grips work fine... but you heat up the outside of your gloves, before your hands, and only your palms get warm......

I had heated grips on my Lowrider. Will use heated gloves on my next glide!

08' Touring model = plug and play for installing the grips IIRC. As for what one you should get gloves or grips.....I say both. Why take a chance, each has its own strong and weak points....get them both....then you got both bases covered!

HD Heated grips are crap. The rheostat isn't up to the task. After you use them for a while (especially if you crank them up) they will fail just when you probably need them the most. If you don't have them put on your bike right when you buy the bike new or shortly thereafter you will only have a 90 day warranty. I went thru 4 sets each succeeding set suppposedly new and improved. Save yourself the time money and hassle and get the gloves.

So where is the cheapest place to get Gerbing heated gear? The stuff at the HD dealer seems nice but a bit over priced.

Do you have the part number for the adapter that allowed you to connect them to your accessory plug? And do you run anything else off the acce?

I like the heated gloves, vest, and arm chaps from Widder. Gerbing might be better but when I bought I got a good deal. Probably good down to about 20-25. Any colder, I should be in front of the TV with a hot apple cider.....

Go with gloves, the grips fail and are a pain to replace! My 08 UCSE3 grips have been replaced twice in 10,000 miles.
