Anyone install Beach bars on a Roadglide?
I know there are tons of Roadglide handlebar swap threads here, and I have searched some but have not found one for beach bars on a roadglide.
I've seen pictures of an orange roadglide that had a set of Burly Beach bars. Would like to see pictures of other setups and also hear if you like them or not.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah, true beach bars would hit the fairing on the RG.
About those Custom Climax Control bars, you could have have a complete set of custom bars made to your friends specs for a lot less. I have 2 friends that have these bars, one took them off they were such a PITA and the other friend is seriously thinking about it. Their throttle cables snap all the time, at leats twice a year. To replace the internal throttle cables, you must unhook the brake lines and bleed the brakes each time. With the small brake resevior, this is no fun job.

Ouch, wish I would have known about the snapping cable issue before he bought the bars! Oh well, they're already on (and that's no small task) so that's where they'll stay for now.
Do they ride a lot? I only ask b/c this bike will see limited use, mostly shows & short rides so the snapping may not be an issue?

Up here we ride for about 7 months maybe a little more before weather hits us. So maybe for them it is an easy season of 5,000-6000 miles. I had these guys build my custom bars on my last bike, www.airdesigncustoms.com

Thank you! I knew I wasn't making this up.
On page 89 of the Agust edition of Hot Bike Baggers, shows the bike I was referring to. The spec says that it has "Burly Beach Bar" and I wasn't sure which model, like the bikini beach or the regular wider ones.
TNA1000, what model beach bars are those? I have apes on my softy now, was going to do apes again, until I saw this write up for the beach bars. I want something comfortable. How do you like 'em?
