Just put on 21 Front/18 Rear - two questions

He is right about the weight issue but, I have been running the 21/18 set up for over a year now and no problems what so ever...

My Metzeler book reads a ME880 Bias -Ply 120/70-21 is rated for 584# .....Honda Gold Wings have a 600# rated front in a Dunlop D205F.....And...HD's 2009 SE RG has a Dunlop D407 that in a 18" is rated for 600#....I am willing to bet green money the 21" Metz at 584# works just fine..... Now if you mount these tires on solid disc wheels, when the wind blows you will tip over.
The Metz ME880 Bias 130/90-16 front 677# ....130/70-18 front 600#
The Metz ME880 Bias 130/90-16 front 677# ....130/70-18 front 600#

Guy's....HD is placing a 600# rated front tire on the 09 Screamin Eagle Road Glide. Not enough proof that its ok? If thats not enough, how do you explain the Honda Gold Wing's 600# rated front? With a 6 cylinder water cooled engine up their. Those wing dingers place more miles on their Honda's than most any of us HD guys and they don't have problems. For once I agree with the MoCo, who would of thought...LOL
