My average is 43mpg with my build.
If I'm cruising and drop it into 6th...I get 46mpg.

Pretty damn respectable for a carb'd bike, I'd say.

I used to get milage in the 40s untill I torqued up my bike. Now I get around 33 in town and 38 - 42 on the hwy. If I am running over 80 on the freeway it is more like 32, I need to go to a 6 speed tranny

See sig for engine specifics.

My average is 40. I can easily get 45 hwy even riding 2 up. Earlier this year I went to Ocean City, MD from Fairfax, VA and got 45.6mpg. That was solo riding at a steady pace with semi-loaded bike and pulling my Uni-Go trailer that was loaded.

Now granted I did see 48-50mpg once on my 02 Ultra riding in cool weather on back roads not going over 50mph. Stock 88" with SE intake & SE slip-ons.

54mpg...LOL

I just got back from a three day trip on my 09, ended up with slightly better than 42 MPG for about 1500 miles . Part of the trip was in the hills of northern Arkansas, but the rest was fairly flat. This was all on the backroads, so I went through a ton of little towns, then back up to 70 MPH. Bike has a stage one with download. I'm pretty happy with the mileage.

I get 48 to 52 mpg on road trips, about 45 around town. The worst I ever got was 42mpg riding at 80 mph into a heavy headwind in Wyoming. I've got screaming eagle pipes, a SE Heavy Breather, and a stage one download. I did notice that my mileage went up a couple mpg after the break in period.

'08 Ultra, SE pipes and AC and stage 1 download. My first tank was around 36mpg. I now have over 5,000 and I took a trip this weekend through back woods mountain roads, 2 up and got 42.3. That is 4th and 5th gear most of the time, I may have put it in 6th for a short period. I usually get around 39 commuting to work (mix of highway and town) and 42+ on trips. I don't usually ride on Interstates so I could potentially get better mileage if I did that I think. Don't really care about the mileage though, even 39 is twice what my cage gets.

09 S.G., Heavy Breather, V & H slipons, stage one remap. My first tank of fuel was 44Mpg. I know have 1100 mi. and have not checked it again but it seems to be about the same.

I just had my 1000 mile service done last week. I was getting 32 mpg before the service, about 43 this past week end after the service. They may have them running rich during the break in period. I wouldnt worry about until after the 1000 mile service.

On my 08 Ultra with two up riding, I get 52 miles per imperial gallon which is around 43 miles per US gallon.
