The last longer/highway ride I checked ended up with
209 miles @ 4.73 gallons = ~44 mpg
For a 103" I'm pretty happy with those numbers.
Granted, around town goosin' it from light to light my mileage sucks, but I don't really care about that. It's more about appeasing the seat-0-meter when I'm doing that, no so much about the pocket book.

I didn't get the bike for the milage, but it was a consideration.
Love the bike, but being off a bike for over 5 years and now riding a dresser my riding technique has to change.
My last bike was a smaller Metric cruiser..
Did like the fact I could ride 2 up in the So. Cal. Santa Ana winds without being pushed around.
