I checked mine several times during and after the breakin period. First of all, I have a 103, with a SERT and true duals - the mileage was around 30-32 for the first 1,000 miles, it's improved progressively with more mileage. I switched to synthetic at 5,000 and now get around 40. I rode the FL over thanksgiving, mostly interstate, and got 45. I filled up yesterday at a local Shell station and paid $1.89 for premium, at that price mileage isn't an issue; I'm just interested in range.
