Do you now have clanking in the front end when going over most types of bumps?

How is the ride over bumps?

I lowered the rears on my 08 RK and was going to do the front over the winter, but my local grocery store just put in moderately huge speed bump that got me thinking twice about it. I'd love to be lower, but I don't want to be hitting bottom, either.

Mine always felt like it handled weird with just the back lowered. Lowered the front 1" with the Harley kit when I chromed the front end and it handles like a dream again. Well worth it.

I have the front & rear lowered on my RG. I just keep the rear shocks pumped up. Other than the occasional bottoming out when riding 2 up...I have no problems.

I'm lowered both front and back and have not noticed any clanging or bottoming out in the front- but I only ride solo..

Then I take it you also lowered the rear??? HD recommends lowering Ft & Rear together - or just the rears - Never just the fronts???

I had my rear shocks cut down one inch from 12 to 11's and lowered the front a full 1". no clanking, no bottoming out, just rides a whole lot better.
