Ingenious but not for me, I don't use the heel shifter at all. Besides, you don't want to scrap that...

Great idea, but the more parts there are, the more likely something can go wrong.

HOLEY CRAP! It is hard enough to keep the few fasteners on the stock heel-toe
torqed!
The one you have pictured, looks like a high school science test.
Although it does appear to allow more foot room......I don't have that problem.

I sometimes scrap my footboard when I'm really not trying......

that boy really increases the chance for scrapring.

I don't know how much all that cost, but I added a 2 inch extended rear shifter from Walters Work Shop. This one item, plus HarleyGoodies floorboard extensions worked for me.

I did what OldPhat did.

But only 2-3 more linkages on that OP set up and you can shift from your living room no matter where the bike is.
