Arlen ness is making a little mess!
I have been noticing for sometime some oil drips. Not a lot but enough to concern me. I have about 3700 miles on the bike now so the air cleaner is not old. I am thinking maybe changing out the o-rings and maybe the gasket if I can find these replacements. I know it will be easy to find the o-rings but are there any suggestions on the gasket? This is my trouble shooting ideas but I am open ideas and or information from anyone who has dealt with this issue.

not too unusual of a problem. Not an AN issue, happens with stock or SE air cleaners also. It is the ventation system on the HD, some blow a bit of oil into the air cleaner housing (even on new bikes), while others don't. you can do a search here for more info. Lots of causes, but usually can be fixed by not overfilling the engine oil level. I leave mine about 1/2 way between full and add on the dip stick.

I did check the oil and it is pretty full. When I have the 2500 service, I provided the dealer 4 Syn 3 Quarts and he returned a 1/2 quart so I think is about right there!

You have too much oil in the motor. When the engine is HOT (220-230 degrees, which is the normal oil temp) the dipstick reading should be a little below full. A cold check is ok, and the opposite side of the stick has a cold scale. Oil coming out of the a/c is the direct result of an overfill situation.
