The Rushmore Aero package on the Road Glide is the best platform ever designed and tested by the MOCO. Street Glide = Sporty, Road Glides = luxurious/spacious. If you want better handling and comfort its not the Street Glide. Both are beautiful machines in their own rights.

Been considering one of these just recently and after reading this entire thread I'm leaning toward the RG. I don't care what it looks like - I have a custom soft tail for that. I want something that has good wind protection, is stable (I live in a part of LA that gets a lot of crosswind on the highway), and comfortable for someone 6' while commuting. Having a frame mounted fairing is a plus because of the weight taken off the bars. I also like dual headlights so oncoming drivers can better gauge the closing speed. Looks like it will be a Road Glide for me.

At the dealer, the sale person point out to two factors on the Road Glide compared to the Street Glide. #1, you can see the front wheel while sitting on the bike. On the SG you can not. #2, turning the handlebar while in a stopped position was like having power steering. On the SG you need a little elbow grease. I tried it and he was right. By the way, I have a SG. Both bikes are great looking bikes.

nah...best bike in wind is a RK.
Best harley selling bike by far is a Street glide. Luv mine. But buy what you like the most. I would be happy with any touring harley and most softails. JMO.
