Pros & Cons of Street Glide vs Road Glide

ISSUE
User wants to know the difference between the two bike styles, which type others chose, and why they chose one over the other. Some reasons people gave for choosing a bike include:
• Personal preference
• Some say that the Road Glide is better in winds

I road both and chose the SG because it was easier to fix for clean air. The new Rushmore fairings might be a game changer for me.

For me, it's a looks thing. Just a personal preference. The batwing fairing looks better than the shark nose fairing imho. Both nice bikes though.

I've ridden both bikes quite extensively and I say ditto with the others. The RG does have lighter steering but I'm a SG guy simply because the aesthetic value of the SG is greater than the minimal benefit of lighter steering on the RG to me. To each their own though because both are amazing bikes. Can't go wrong with either.

The Rushmore Aero package on the Road Glide is the best platform ever designed and tested by the MOCO. Street Glide = Sporty, Road Glides = luxurious/spacious. If you want better handling and comfort its not the Street Glide. Both are beautiful machines in their own rights.
