I don't know if "finding my bike in a crowd" would be the motivation to buy or not buy a particular bike. How often do you find yourself in that big of a crowd unless at a rally or an HD Birthday bash. Last August finding your bike amongst 55,000 other bikes at Miller Park was a bit of a challenge.....ride safe whatever you end up with.

RG or SG
I just purchased a 09 RG Screaming Eagle. I to was battling which bike I should get. What leaned me to the RG was the fact that it does feel roomier & that everyone at the dealership traded in their SG's for RG'S.
Both bikes are almost identical, but I have yet to see someone trade in their RG for a SG, but you see a lot of people trade in the SG'S for RG's.
The owner of the dealership was selling his 09 SG & went back to riding a RG. Good Luck, they are both great machines!

I had a Roadglide, then started loving the looks of the Streetglides and bought a 2008 Streetglide last year. Although I slightly like the looks of the SG better I immediately noticed how inferior the handling and ride was on the SG compared to my Roadglide and my Roadglide was an 03 without any new technollogy. If I was looking for a local bike I would get a streetglide, but they are a dime a dozen now. I just bought an 09 Roadglide and with a few options, remove the headlight bezel and smoked windshield it looks sharp. I forgot how great the ride was on the roadglide, I cannot ride it enough. I hate to admit it but I use to own a goldwing, not proud of those days and I would say the ride is comporable. Nothing rides like the roadglide for comfort, handling and cornering. The street is lowered and I scraped boards in the corners, I can lean the RG much further. The rg is a bike people love or hate the looks. They are both great bikes, if you do long distance, go RG. If you ride local with a few long rides, go with the looks you like best.
