One day I was bored and took the baffle out(loud but didn't sound great) then I took the packing off and installed the baffle(same as with packing but sounded like sh#t) then went back to the baffle with packing (Bueno). Moral of the story, don't get bored!

Whichever way you go make sure to put synthetic oil in there since it is way better than regular oil. And make sure to use the Harley branded oil since its best. And vote Obama in 08.

I added Rush slip ons, SE AC and stage 1 download to my 09 UC. Increase in low end torque was amazing. Sound is a little louder than my Screaming Eagle II's I had on my 06 UC. I can still hear the stereo at 75 mph. Mine have started to yellow at the neck where they attach to the pipe. Love the performance but pissed that they are changing color so soon. They are cheaper than the V & H and now I know why. I may need to richen mine up a little with a tuner to keep them from changing color but sure runs great. I still have to sort this out.

I really like the look of the new monster ovals. With that said, my dad had an older version on his 06 RK and they were not very loud at all. As for the deep rumble, not so much. My Rush 2" were way louder and deeper sounding. I would hate to spend that much money on them and they come out sounding like his did. Now he has a 08 UC and went to Rush 1.75 and loves them.

I have the rush 2.0 on my 2008 RK, ran those for a while without fuel management but put on a pc111 to curb the decel popping

I've got the V&H Basic Slip-ons slash cut with the V&H Fuel Pak. If you open up the exhaust, you'll want some sort of a fuel management system. I'm pleased so far, not to loud, and all my riding buddies are surprised that I bought all the stuff online and saved a good chunck of change.
