I had my dealer put on what they called "Police Bars" or Pullback bars. They only charged me 1.5 hours labor and the bars I think were about $60. No new cables or anything. They look exactly like the bars on the RK Screamin Eagle in the 08 book. Very knowledgeable guys. I can't believe a dealer would charge anyone 5 hours labor.

Besides the comfort, I noticed the bike handles much better at slow/parking lot speeds. Can't think of a better add on.

If those Police bars are the ones that come on the Police Edition Road Kings, they are the same as Heritage bars. I have them on my '07 Road King and I love them.

Thanx..

I actually would like the wild 1' chubbies, but, well you know the price of them, couple hundred bucks, little on the high side for me. Nice butttttttt... LOLOL!!
Mine were installed on the standard RK 1" risers. They're not 100% perfect, but are much more comfortable than the stock bars. I'm in the process of changing seats also so that may solve my last problem with the bike. Normally the bar change would take very little time, but with the RK you have to take the headlamp nacelle apart which just makes for more time.

Yes, switch wires run on the outside, same as the stock bars.

Is pic in your signature with heritage bars installed?
Could you please post or link a bigger pic?

Heritage bars #56902-08 are on my wish list for a while, but I did not see them on eBay so far. But since riding season is almost over, I have plenty of time till spring

Reading all of those positive reviews on heritage bars makes me more unsatisfied with stock bars

Just picked up these bars (56902-08) myself & can't wait to put them on after what I've read on here from others. I'll post some pics after they're installed...

I just had those new Heritage bars put on my 08 RKC. Dealer charged me 2 hrs labor, and no cable or line changes needed. Made a big difference. I still want apes someday, but these are great in the meantime.

Default Heritage bars

Just got my Heritage bars installed by an Indy yesterday, after 2 different dealers said they wouldn't fit on my 02 Road King. Didn't seem to be any problem installing them, no new cables, etc. Sure do like 'em!
