So what is the difference in this device versus just draining the oil, turning the engine over a few times and pumping the oil into the pan and thus draining it out into the drain pan.
Your getting 3 quarts out of the oil TANK. Not the crankcase. That was his point, very little of the oil is left in the CRANKCASE.
3 quarts from pulling the drain plug, (oil tank???) plus oil in the filter, and another quart out of the return line with the Scavenger.
Yup. Very little in the crankcase I suppose, but a lot more than 'a little' from somewhere.
OTOH, where was it that I implied the 3 quarts was from the crankcase????
Saturday finally made it,Yes sweet, hey this item were talking about is like inventing a better mouse trap kinda thing.Does it work, yes it does, but does the way we've always done it work, yes it does,so If what ever way you like works, then just do it that way,it's all GOOD.I know dude's who never changed oil in anything, esp old 1200,they just kept adding till was changed that way.Doesn't matter, enjoy the ride
