Look under the bottom of the tour pack you can tell if its all the way back, suppose to come from the factory that way. I know mine has more room as is for wife than my 03 had.

My dealer said they come in all the way back, but can be moved ahead if needed. Alot more room than the 05.

when i look under there are ribs that are on the pack to sit on the bar. there are extra like it can go back but it looks like the front would be back past the bar if it moved.

i will post a pic thursday after work.

The 09 ultra has a 2 position tour pack setup.
Mine came from the factory in the rear most position ( I checked it ).
My wife says there is more room than my old bike had with the detachable sissy bar.
Easy enough to try either way.
Neat setup.

The 09's are different in the way the TP mounts. If you look at the indents on the bottom of the TP, it looks like it's set in the forward position. But when you take out the liner, you'll see two sets of bolt holes. Mine came set up as far back as it will go.

No it will not, George said he was looking to purchase a 09 to get a new relocator in the works if he could find a dealer that was willing to not beat him up on his trade
