Default 2009 CVO RG Headlight Bezel

The 2009 CVO RG doesn't have the plastic light cover. I ordered a new 2009 CVO bezel and it snapped right in on my 2008 RG. It comes already painted black.

That's nice to know.
Someday I'm gong to own a RG, and the one thing I'd really like to get rid of right away is the plastic cover over the headlights. The new setup on the CVO bike looks great. Nice to know it will fit the older and regular line Roadies.
Probably fit on the older Screamin' Eagle Road Glides too.

Cool

Part number 69987-09. The parts book makes it look like you need to replace the headlight assembly x2 at over $500.00. Not so........$43.95 plus tax. I don't know if the newer style headlamps are a different type glass since there is no protective cover. I may be replacing headlamps, we'll see.

I was concerned that it wouldn't cover the recessed bevel all the way around the headlamps in the fairing where the original cover fit, but it covered it perfectly!!

The headlight back bezel looks great, except for maybe cleaning.
But from what I was told, the two individual light bezels on the 09'
CVO are made from a harden plastic. So they will not scratch.
Thus these need changed in conjunction.

How about some pics a little further back so we can get the full experience?
