Ok, Thank you. I looked at it today once when I removed my own headlight shield and once today at the dealer looking at a silver CVO they have there. I really like it, but am worried about the non hardened headlight lenses on the earlier models. This writeup below confirms the '09CVO RG has hardened lenses. I would like to find out the part numbers of those to see if they are affordable accompanyments to this mod.

If everyones worried about the softer lenses on the "older" models, you can always put that armor skin on the lenses. I have them on my car and its garunteed against rocks penetrating it. I have it on my car and its ****

I'm glad to hear this is just going to snap in. I ordered one weeks ago and just thought I would take my chances. I have no idea as to how long it will take though. Apparently there was 5 in stock in the USA when I ordered, but being in Canada I don't know if I got one of those or if I will have a long wait. I ordered my Jim's 120 on August 19th and I still don't have it yet either. Discouraging to say the least.

I also thought about the 3M film, like from Profinish, but thought the heat from the bulbs might be too much for it. I sure like the part though. May just take my chances.

I have them on my Infiniti with HID lights, over a year now without issues.

Thanks for the compliments Saturday Night Special.
Your bike looks good too......I really like the color. I also really like the rear fender assembly now, much cleaner setup than what I have.
Got any modifications planned? I am sure you have seen plenty on this site to spark your imagination.

This is cool, I hate that clear cover...it never fit right anyway. First bulb that gets busted by a rock or something I will just replace both with the new harden ones. Color match on a dark blue pearl might be bad *** as well.
