Default tour pack on a street glide?

Hey I know there are a few of you that have added the tour pack on your street glides, and I think I have to do this. My wife has a horrible back issue and needs the most support possible in order to ride with me. I thought that the tour pack would give her that is this true?

Also what all did you guys add with the tour pack? I was hoping that I could do the quick release tour pack and also relocated the antenna from the back of the bike to the one that goes inside the fairing?

Please let me know and please also attatch pictures!

Thanks a million, ride safe!

Mustang Solo seat
Mustang 13.5" Passenger Pillion
Quick Detach docking hardware
Streamliner passenger floorboards
Tour Pak
Antenna inside the fairing

Sorry, no pics with it attached. Wife absolutely loved it when she was riding with me. During our separation I took another female passenger along on a few rides and she really dug it too. She'd been use to riding passenger on RK's with backrests and said the TP combined with the 13.5" pillion really made a difference in her comfort.

Wife is back, so I ride pretty much solo these days since she doesn't get into riding anymore. /shrug

Sundowner Seat
Detachable Tourpack and Docking Hardware
Backrest for when not using Tourpack
Will be getting passenger floor boards one of these day.

We only use the Tourpack when we travel. The wife says it it more comfortable than the backrest, but we like the way the bike looks without it.

My '04 has been modified much like an SG with the fender/facia/LED, etc.

RK Standard solo/pillion added for passenger
Old-style, curved footboards

I have 3 set-ups for my RG all are quick detach. Backrest, chopped tourpak and king tourpak. My wife's favorite is the King tourpak by far. I have the Mustang back pad which has longer armrests.

Once you have it, you won't want to take it off. I was going to do that to my Ultra, but after about a month with it, there's no way I could do without it.

itll make your SG handle differently when you ride solo, but its worth the money. I like to take my kids on long weekend rides, and it just makes it way more comfortable for em. My wife has said she'd do long rides again too.

I bought a wide back seat from an EG on ebay for it. it just fits the bike with the tour pak and makes it nice for the passenger. I also bought a rack, the fitted liner, and a tour pak lid organizer.

I don't think you'll regret having one. It gives you a glutton of space, even on reallly long rides. I love mine.

Here's mine. King tour pak, quick release attachment, antenna in fairing. Sundowner seat. Tour pak backrest with Street Glide stitching to match.

Definitely adds comfort and back support and plenty of storage. I highly recommend, you won't regret it.
