Default Got my seat back from Mean City Cycles today....

Man o' Man what a difference. I sent my seat off a while back and got it in this afternoon. I had their "Supreme" seat modification and a heated seat option. I can tell just from sitting on the bike that it is gonna make a big difference in comfort. Definitely money well spent.......Before I could sit on it and had two definite pressure points on the seat and now it is like I am sitting in the seat instead of on it.

I am very happy with the physical modifications made to my seat, although the heating element doesn't seem hot enough for me.Have you tried the heated seat yet?

It's 86 here today and suppose to rain through thursday so it will probably be Friday until I get to ride it on a cooler day. I read that some people wish the heater was a little warmer but I think it will be fine on cooler days. If it is truly cold I'll be wearing my gerbing gear anyway.

I have no regrets from getting my seat done. Great place of biz in my opinion.

Lee,

Is the work that was done something that you can actually see, or just feel. I mean did they change the look or stitching or etc,......

They just re-used the original seat cover. You can't tell any difference in appearance but my butt sure can tell a difference.

I just got mine back Saturday, I had the double memory foam done on both the riders seat and the passenger pinion. Took the bike out Sunday with the wife and the ride was great. The stock cover was used but you can tell by the shape that is not stock. Definitely money well spent!

I sent the seat for my RKC in for adjustment (supreme) back in July and got it back and it was extremely uncomfortable. I wanted it to take me back and down and it accomplished both but when I rode it the back of the seat killed me.

I called Allan and told him what was going on and he asked me to ship it back with "rush" on the box. I sent it the next day and got it back a few days later. I rode 300 miles Saturday and found a tremendous change and improvement.

I'm now another true fan of MCC, thanks Allan for being so attentive to my needs and giving me such prompt service.

Just read a good article on them in one of the Bagger Mags. Might have to give em a try.
