Cool Need your opinion guys

Hi There,

I already own a 08 FXDC. I decided to switch to a touring bike since I do a lot of traveling.
I have the option of buying a Road King 08 FLHRC OR the same model in 09. There is a difference of almost $3000 (08 is cheaper naturally). Both bikes are brand new. Which bike do you think i should go for? The 08 or the 09?

If it were me. "09"... Now if I had an 07 or 08, I certainly wouldn't take a bath to get into an 09. But if it's the initial purchase, this is an easy question, IMHO.

Oh, and who was it that said, "The joy of getting a great deal soon wears off when the reality of what you could have had for a little more sets in"... might apply here.
ABS, Frame upgrade, taller tire in front, wider tire in rear, different wheels, under frame exhaust for heat reduction, etc......

I was going to disagree with you, but you are right considering all of the changes for 09.

Buy the 09, if financialy possible,
or you will always wonder and wish you had.

That's just my opinion, you understand.
I'm the guy who waited 53 years to buy a HD Touring bike
only to have them completely overhaul a frame 3 months later,
that was a 27 year old design.

Considering the MSRP price difference of the 08 and 09 for one color and security is $74, how much are trying to sell the 08 to you for?

One color and security:
2008 FLHRC $18650
2009 FLHRC $18724
