Yeah, they sit a little higher. Not enough to cause me a problem. I can still "flat foot" it from the seat, but with less bend at the knee than with my '07 or my friends '08.

Now to go air dry my Wheaties...
I have an '06 Ultra with a BB installed. Rides tight and true. Much better than previous without it. Money very well spent. Very simple install and high quality product as well.

There are several stabilizers out there that do not use the cross member at all and would have no impact on a center stand....either a existing one, or a center stand your planning on putting on. I know the TWR Missing-Link and the Ride Str8 both do not use the cross member at all.
I'll be looking into that. Thanks.............................

I like the looks of the TWR, I don't think I will look at the new Harley's until 2011 or so...

Just a few things I have done to my 06 Street glide. Feels like I ride on a rail. Done several modification based on input from this forum. I have not ridden an 09 but it would hard for me to imagine an 09 would be significantly better if at all. Sometimes a few upgrade can hold off the temptation or justification one usually does thru when the new bikes come out. For me the only thing that has tempted me since my 06 has been ABS since I cannot upgrade to it. So for that one item I cannot justify.

1) True track stablizer. Makes a big difference on its own..
2) Race tech gold value emulators for upgrade those old fork dampering systems. Really nice upgrade not many are aware of and works well with the stabilizer and not really that expensive. Changed out to chrome forks doing the upgrade.
3) Progressive 440 rear shocks.

PS: GET me880 and the rain grooves issues are gone. Dunlops if you are using them are notorious for that feel.
