Hey fellas. Just got my BlackPearl 09 FLoaTeR 3 days ago. It is BADASS!! Instant love.. I figured since ya'll were talkin seats that maybe you mite can answer a question 4 me. How wide is the factory seat and how much lower is the Badlander seat. I had that seat on my Lowrider and it was the most comfortable of the 3 seats I had. Leanin towards another one........

The '09 frames are different than earlier models, you need to order the new backrest to fit the frame. I've had my back rest on order for a month now for my '09 UC. : (

The Badlander is a solo perch isn't it?

Cool 09FLoaTer

How tall and wide are these factory seats and how low will a different seat take me?,,,,, and still allow a backrest.

Check their website then call them. I put a mustang tourpak seat with arm rests on my HD tourpak. It was made better with longer arm rests.

Default Offset Mustang backrest

I rode 8000 miles in 3 weeks SC to CA and back some days riding over 600 miles and never had sore rear at all.
Mustang makes a offset bracket thats moves the pad back another 1 1/2 or more, go to their website and you'll see it, it's just the bar that slids into your seat you put all the mustang stuff from your present setup on it.

FLoaTeR, I like it!

Nice pics GhostFlamed!

Yea, now I am droolin! Dealer said I should be ridin' by next weekend!

I myself love Mustand Seats but found the same problem, that the backrest seemed to move me a tad closer to the tank then I liked to ride. Will have to look at that bar that was mentioned to relocate the backrest a tad further back. I was comfortable without a backrest altogether though on my past rides and it's nice to stretch backwards from time to time.
