Too bad, in Central FLA the dealers have 2009 - all colors, all kinds, all flavors lined up
Ross Meyer has 55 2009 SG ready to sell
When i was looking for my 08 Ultra last March Ocala had 83 Ultra's
Yes, I counted because I couldn't beleive how many they had

its the same deal for foreign countries, they also have 3 monthly allotments and Harley sets the #s.
Maybe Harley are employing a couple of fortune tellers who saw the meltdown coming, the cutback in production is really going to help them out.

I dont think anyone will be waiting too long after xmas.

You picked a great color!

BS, sounds like the dealer just trying to sell you something he can get from another dealer right away, which just as good for you. 58 days here from order day to receive day. Check out what some of these guys say it took them when ordered. Seems like the norm is about 8 wks.

It all depends when you order because my dealer told me today that dealers can place orders only once a quarter. Get in at the right time and your wait is shorter but order at the wrong time and you wait almost the full three months. He also said they are only allowed so many, based upon past sales. So the faster they can sell their own inventory (or make trades to complete their own sales,) the better off the dealer will be. Then there are dealers and stealers who want you to believe there is a shortage and want to charge you a premium too. Avoid those dealers like the plague. Find a dealer who will work with you and both will be happy.

Check the bikes Bruce Rossmeyer has available in the daytona area......
Biketoberfest is 12 days away.
What better reason to pick up a new bike? (You wanted to ride, right?)

Default Thanks for all the responses folks.

Seems I ordered at the beginning of the quarter. Guess I’ll have to be patient. “Good things come to those who wait". Just wish I wouldn’t sold my Roadster before checking into how long it was going to take to get my EGC. I'm missing out on some nice riding days. Oh well 89 days and counting.

I have been able to locate a few 2009 EGC's without ABS at other dealers. But after reading all the threads I’m convinced ABS is the way to go especially since the wife enjoys riding with me. Doesn’t really manner riding season will be over soon.
