Default HD Auxiliary Running/Brake/Turn Signal Kit & Kury LED's

Does anyone know if the HD Auxiliary Running Light / Brake Light / Turn Signal Conversion Kit 69461-06A will work with the Kuryakyn rear LED turn signals installed?

First question is, do you have a security system?
If you do the LED lights will cause the security systems to malfunction. What you have to add is a load equalizer to avoid this. Another problem is the load equalizer, if it's made with a ceramic resistor it can possibly cause over heating if the turn signals are left on too long.
What I would suggest is to go all out and do the front and back turnsignals and do the taillights with Kurys. Then get a combination load equalizer and module setup from Badlands. There modules don't create any heat and won't over heat the wiring systems.

It should work because it just a wire harness part that connects to the brake light harness. Having LEDs should not affect how it should work.

But take heed in what Roagking_Al said about the load equilizer.

Yes, there is a security system, and there are two kury load equalizers that came with the front and rear LED turn signal kit's. There is also a HD LED tail light installed. All lights are functioning correctly. I would like to add a module to turn the rear turn signals into running and brake lights. Hope this extra info helps.

That's what I'm hoping. Just need to confirm it.

If you look on ridetimetechnology.com he states his will not work with the HD module. He also prefers the Badlands III. When I was at the shop the other day they stock the Drag Specialist III and he said you needed one that was compatable or the security light will stay on.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I would like to add one module that does it all.

Man, this is right up my alley. Here is my .02. Call Keith at ridetime and he will give you the straight scoop and tell you what will work and he will build it for you reasonably and in a timely way. I've got another question, but I don't want to steal this thread so I'll do a new post. Keith is very easy to talk to and no pressure.

Since you already have front and rear turn LED's. My suggestion would be to use the ILL-01-A Plug-In Illuminator and then you will have a simple plug-in installation, along with built-in Load Equalizer III function with no heat.
http://www.badlandsmotorcycleproduct...cts/BETCSM.htm

Just remove the load equalizers you have installed.
The ILL-01-A is both equalizer and the illuminator built into one unit.

This is what I was looking for. I like the idea of having the built in equalizer that will work with the existing LED's. And be able to use the 4-way flashers if needed.
