I have a 06 with stock head sets and they work fine for what they'er designed for, which is CB and intercom. My head sets are 3 years old and working just like the day I installed them. In most states its against the law to pipe music into the helmet, but then who bothers with something as simple as their own safety.

 

Stock headsets are crap. Ditch them and get the J&M elite series.
