The only thing that burns me up is this processing or setup fee you guys pay. It's BS, they get paid from Harley to do the setup, they're double dipping on you guys. It's illegal in Jersey to charge dealer prep, setup or whatever you want to call it. Fight to get it removed we did here. Why the heck should you have to pay for a product to put it in nice new condition when it should be that way when you pick it up.

Hello Roadking AL, I really appreciate your concern and frustration. I believe you are looking out for your fellow motorcycle enthusiast. I will try to talk to my dealer and see what they might do for me. According, to this thread my dealer is making a killing and I am the roadkill.
Thanks for the heads up.. I do appreciate you...I am new to the Harley world and this site is the the best thing to riding one.

Proving, once again, that walking into a dealership after having done your homework, and telling them that you can take delivery today will always get their attention. It's called negotiating, and is still the best way to buy anything.
Giving the dealer "one shot" to earn your business never will get as good a price as a strong negotiator will get.
Nice job on getting $2,000 off your '09!
