Default 2009 Ultra antennas

I found for storage, the two antennas can be removed and stored in the tour pack. One antenna is labeled CB, the other is unlabeled. Now the problem. Both posts on to which they are attached on the tour pack are identical. Which side of the tour pack is the CB antenna attached, and which side of the tour pack is the radio antenna attached?

OK, silly question..... left as your sitting on the bike or left as you looking at it? I only ask as I have removed mine and have no idea if I replaced correctly. AM/FM works fine though. Never used the CB.

left as you're sitting on it and if you're looking at the tourpak from the rear it would also be left.

may be a dumb question but - what happens if you mix the antenna up and put the am/fm on the cb post and the cb antenna on the am/fm post?

They will receive with some loss of reception. I know dealer put mine on backward on my 06 UC. You will damage your CB if you transmit with the AM/FM antenna on the right side.

Thanks for the response. Sorry I'm so late in expressing my appreciation.

You can also tuck the ends under the back rest...I don't know if prolonged storage would damage them though.

For further gearheading, and if I'm not mistaking, you can check the wires... The big one is the CB Coax. and the small one is the AM/FM. These guys are right tho.
