you could also just go get the shorter HD antennas and not have to worry about it as they are both the same antenna.... then it wouldn't matter which is right and left...

on my 09 i had removed the trunk liner to check,the screw together conection for
the CB is on the left sitting on my bike .

they have diffrent connections ? also a cb antena needs to be sward in or tuned if ya like and the internal physics of each one is diffrent ,

Dude... are you sure about that?

I just put the new HD shorties on my 2008 Ultra this past Saturday. There are different part numbers for the CB and the AM/FM antennas.

76388-08 Shorty AM/FM Antenna

Damn, that's why I like this forum. I learn something new almost every time I log on. I guess when I take her out of the bubble I'll take under the tour pak liner to make sure my CB connection is on the right and make sure the antennas go on the right sides.
