Default fllor board to foot peg conversion

hey guys within this next week or so, I should be getting a new Harley. One I am looking at is the Road King. I am not a big fan of floor boards though. I know you can get forward controls for the touring bikes, but I was curious as to whether or not there was a cheaper way to convert the boards to a softail style forward peg set up. I already have some nice Kuryakyn pegs, so just buyong a relocation kit or something would be nice. If such a thing does exist, if someone could post a link, that would be very helpful.

I guess I will be the first one to ask. Have you ever ridden a bike with footboards, and why would you want to change them?

Now to answer your question, I have never heard of such a kit.

My current cruiser has pegs, I sat on the RK at the dealer and it has my legs bent a little two much for my comfort. I'm not super tall or anything, but I would like to stretch my legs out a little more. Plus, If I do go with the RK, I plan to strip it down a little bit, atleast for my everyday ride back and forth to work and such. Another bike I am looking at is the crossbones and I would make the swap ton that one too. Harley does make a kit to swap FL soft tails to FX forward controls with pegs.

+1 on that one. I'm 6' 3 1/4" and I can't imagine not having floor boards.
For more room you can move them out and front and put on extended brake pedal and shifter linkagefor a minimal amount of coin. Also pegs or mini boards on the engine gurad and you're all set. Just a different direction for you to ponder.
