I never liked the oval air cleaner when the Twinkie came out and like them even less now that I have seen 264.8 million of them. I saw a Kuryakyn High-5 the other day and liked it mainly because it was different. Any opinions on the air cleaner? I would even take an S&S teardrop with a K&N if they made the for the fuel injected. Any other options than the football and the High-5 that would be good for touring?--------------Rethy

I use to have the same setup. I put the chrome flame cover directly on the filter with the chrome back plate. It looks really good if you add the chrome backing plate behind the stage one filter instead of the gray cast one. The chrome backing plate is somewhere around $50. It looks even better than that if you put the chrome EFI cover behind the backing plate. I wish I would have taken a pic of that setup before I took it off. I still have the chrome EFI cover behind the Heavy Breather. It cleans that area up alot.

Replaced the filter w/K&N. Got it thru M&M cycles. Look it up in the Custom Chrome catalog.

I bought the screamin eagle teardrop shaped cover to put on my bike but then I found a good price on a 105th anniv insert. I put the 105th insert on the football cover and was surprised by how good it looked. I need to take a picture. I may put the SE cover on but I like the look with the insert for now.
