I installed my TuneTrapper antenna yesterday. I'm curious about where you placed your antenna. I put mine under the fairing hooks and tywraped them to the turn signal/speaker wire bundle.

Yah Mon, it is mucho better now that I have moved it to the fairing above the lights. And it looks so good without that dang whip yeehawing around in the back!!!!

What did you do with old antenna wire?....looks like a lot of trouble to remove it!

Just leave the old cable it where it is, remove the whip and simply plug in the tune trapper!

Thanks Bounty Hunter....That is what I was gonna do, but wasn't for sure if there was an easy way to get the old wire off...Tune Trapper is on order!

Hi, Guys new on forum, I have been reading for about 4-6 months & it has cost me big! But it's great. I have done a lot of things to my 2002 bagger,also have tunetrapper & all connecters to take tourpak off & on. Good riding & tooling!

I removed all of the tie-wraps up to the seat then coiled it under the seat and tie-wrapped it in place there. That way if I ever decide I need to use it again it's protected from the elements.
