Good for you! I ,love my new Ultra. By far the best MC I have ever riden. You are going to love it. I just completed my Stage One with Jack Pot Pipes, TFI Fuel Management and a SE Air Cleaner. AWSOME. You mentioned it seemed heavier on the kickstand. I think the 09 models lean more on the kick stand. My neighbor has an 05 ultra and my 09 leans more than his. I do not know why they did this as it is heavier to stand up for sure. I sure love this bike, it is fricken great. I too have gotten used to the ABS and will never be without them again. Hands down HD should have did this years ago IMO. Again, congratulations on your new ride!

Also got a new 09 UC after loosing my 07 UC in a crash (you know,those people coming in the opposite direction yhat decide to turn left just in front of you) Anyway, the 09 UC does weight 38 pounds more.

 

I traded my 07 in on a 09 Ultra too. Will have close to 1700 miles(144 miles round trip) on it when I get home from work this afternoon. They got the gearing right on this one. Yea they do set a little higher probably put the same kickstands on them they put on the 07 why they lean over a little more (you know how HD does things).
