Any one regret changing to 21 front and or 18 rear on your SG? If so why? SEE MY LAST POST ON PAGE 2

 

I regret getting married at a young age. I regret the stupid tattoo I got in Hong Kong when I was in the Navy. I regret not buying Microsoft in 1991. I regret my German Shepherd dying. I think puting a 21 on the front of a SG would rank right up there. Why would you do that?

 

Hey MARS, here's why: Because you can. Because about 2000 guys on this forum have. And because it looks so freakin' good, that it's hard not to want to do it. FLGator is just asking, of those that have done it, if they have any regrets. It's a good question. Many of us wonder the same thing. I love the look, but wouldn't want to sacrifice ride, load capacity, or stability. Perhaps those that have done it come back on line and put those fears to rest, saying that they have no regrets, love the ride, more stable...bla, bla, bla....Or someone admits that they really don't like it for riding as well as the 16" or even the 18"... Sorry about the rant, but your condescending attitude to the original question just kind of hit me wrong. Can't we all just try and get along here.....

 

You also regret quitting school in the tenth grade, never being able to play sports, only dating fat chicks but come on dude chill out and stay away from the post office for a few day's

As for regetting my 18/21 combo...not a damn bit.

I love my 21 You dont like it? I really dont care you aint never going to ride it so whats it matter? I Do Like mine. FLAGator. 16 on the rear though. NO ABS Problems speedo is on and it handles as well as any other bagger out there.

 

2nd bike with 21/18 set up -- had it on my 07 SG and now on my 08 RG -- no regrets the bike handles great--it made the SG have a sporty feel to it--now on the RG is just enhances the ride

 

been wondering about the ride part my self.As to first comment why would you simple ITS HIS DAMN BIKE AND HE WANTS TO MODIFY IT.
Sorry been asked why i care about wobble at 120 that feels like *** ends going to pass the front to many times.If you pay for it and want to change it or ride it like your girlfreinds husband owns it and is behind you with a gun its your bussiness and your right to do so.
