Default synthedic oil or regular oil

just wondering what most of you use. got a 08 street glide 96 cube dealer suggested synthedic oil always used non synthedic in my old bike 84 cube, but was told the 96 gets hotter and synthedic would be better. already did the 1000 mile and went with regular oil coming up on 2500 mile and going back and forth on changing to syntheic.

I was in the same boat. Went with non syn my first 1000 mile service then at 4000 miles i went to the SE synthetic and wow. Absolutley notice a difference in heat. The bike hardly ever goes into heat management mode anymore and i can just feel the heat difference when riding in stop and go taffic. And i do not have an oil cooler yet.

Synthetics are so much better than dino oil, why would you ever want to use anything else in your bike?

Go Synthetic on your first complete fluid change!!! It's has better lubrication properties, your engine will run cooler. Plus you can do your oil changes on the 5000 and 10000 service intervals. I also recommend the premium oil cooler!!!
