Default Loud Lids

I saw this product in Hot Bike Baggers magazine.

www.loudlids.com

I like the idea of having rear speakers without having to put on tour-pak. Unfortunately there were no prices listed on the web site so I emailed them for a price list.

They sure do but I bet they are not cheap. I got a quick response when I emailed for the price list but I have no clue what type of file format they sent me as I could not open it. I asked to them re-send.

Yep nice looking pair....of speakers.

Look a bit bulky to me. Have to see them on a bike.

How will they hold up in the rain esp a downpour? What about just washing bike?Seems like they would turn into fishbowls.Granted on a non tourpac bike your options are limited, maybe the lower speaker setups would survive better. The hogtunes seem like a big improvement over stockers at higher speeds and he does do the lowers setups.

Those are a good alternative for the FLTR and FLHX for those folks not wanting to put a tourpak on and getting rear speakers out of the deal. I wonder if it includes the harness or if they require separate purchase from HD.

They have a gallery that shows them on various bikes.

Also thier site states that they are water resistant speakers...to what level I have no clue. But you can get lids without speakers so one could put in a marine grade waterproof speaker of your own choosing.

Cool idea, but I could not concentrate due to the cleavage on the model.
