No sales tax in MT. I was checking prices too, and Great Falls, MT dealer told me to STOP shopping, he'll beat any price, anywhere, if you give him a chance. I'm not recommending them, I'm just quoting him.... Might be worth a call.

I'm right next door to MT (ID) and will certainly take a gander over there. I hear ya about no sales tax in MT (OR too) but one still pays tax on their bike when the go through DMV back in their home state though right?
Yes, unless you do what 75% of the folks from all over the world do that come to MT to buy high ticket items like RV's, Boats, etc. And that is you license it in MT, fill out some form that states you're a resident, and you visit Montana at least once a year some short period of time. Don't know all the details, but there's a ton of folks doing it. There was a huge article in the Missoulian (Local Paper) about it. I'm sure that someone like BRIT RV's in Missoula could tell you how to pull it off. If you're close to MT it might be worth it. Pretty good size chunk of change in savings. In fact, Great Falls HD might be able to tell you how to do it. Good luck.
My apologies, it's BRETZ RV, in Missoula. Here's the numbers. I'd suggest talking to someone about buying a big RV, and avoiding the Sales Tax, what the procedures are, etc. They're more likely to help you than if you say you're buying a Harley.
