Default King Tour Pak Backrest Pad on Chopped Tour Pak

Has anyone ever taken the wrap-around King Tour Pak Backrest Pad and put it on a Chopped Tour pak? Would the shorter pak accomodate such a backrest? Any problems with this?

Thanks!

Seems like the backrest would be so low on your passenger that it wouldn't be useful. In other words, the "armrests" if you can call them that, would be too low. I have the wraparound pad on my king tourpak and it is barely high enough for my wife especially when she uses her gel pad.

The lids are the same on the chopped and the king tour paks. Someone here on the forum had a picture of his scoot with a king lid and backrest on a chopped pak. This was awhile back and on the old forum so I assume the pic is long gone. I think it was a FLH to FLTR conversion bike if I recall correctly.

That's exactly what I want to do with my chopped tour pak. I put a thread out asking the same question a few months ago and the silence was deafening. My parts guy told me that it's a snap. Just drill a couple of holes on each side of the TP lid, pull off the other one (sporty) and replace it. Need the template but you can download that from the parts counter. The piece that hangs down doesn't come down any further than the sporty one. I did check that out. I'm just trying to find a screaming deal on EBAY or somewhere else to go for it.

That's it, just drill those holes..I've seen a bunch through the years, actually works fine for the passenger...
