Default 07 0wners ?????

well another rideing season is comeing to a close for most of us ... and im sure some of you 07 owners have stacked up some miles over the last couple of seasons ..as a 07 owner myself ,after hereing all the complaining of how bad the 07 where ,ie crankshaft issues heat ,etc,etc..just curious how everyone is doing , i know everything has issues but it just seemed the 07's got a bad rap .... any thoughts

p.s. any acoustic blues(guitar)players out there ??..........keith

I really like my 07. After riding a 1986 glide - it's a huge improvement. Only discomforting thing was engine heat and tour pack location. Installed RJS origionals, XIED's and a George Anderson set back for the tour pack and all is fine.

Never purchased any motor vehicle that didn't require some "home re-engineering" :-)

Mine was down for 4 weeks waiting for a clutch assembly and starter to be replaced under warranty. Seems the starter drives on the early 07 models are going south and tearing up the gear on the clutch housing which is not available as a separate component. Other than that I have run the crap out of the bike and have enjoyed it.

Here it it 2010 and the 2011 models are out
but I still love my 07 RKC. So far no problems,
I have changed a few things only because I
wanted to, like the juggs, pistons, heads, cams,
and pipes. The only problem that i have with it
is that it dose not want to turn in towards the
factory where I work. The stearing semes to get
so tight that I can bearly twist the handle bars.
The bike wants to keep going stright to the open
road and the feeling of freedom
