18,000 on mine since July of 07. No serious problems that I so often read about. I did have a rear shock replaced for leaking oil, and my fairing bracket just broke from braking too hard.
Cant' understand that one - especially since I was on my way home from the Dragon.
Tons of hard braking without incident. To Harley's credit it was a pretty severe panic stop - front tire actually screached!
Love my bike!

Year round rider with 22,000 on mine. Only significant issue was an oil leak from the crankcase, fixed under warranty. Completely stock engine and exhaust. Heavier oil in the rear shocks, tour pack moved back another inch, and still searching for "the seat solution". I'm a happy camper.

Only racked up 6k miles on mine. A few minor issues, nothing mechanical. Love the bike so far so good. Never had the rocks in the can issue just the 5th gear whine and its either getting quieter or I don't notice it anymore.

11k on my 07 FLHX and am very pleased with it. That's not too many miles I know, but that is one of 3 bikes. No issues, the rear tire gave me 10,500 miles of service. A saddlebag spring broke the other day and I did have to replace the rear fender LED lights but other than that, it's a great bike. Cheers!

I got my 07 RKC later part of the year, Nov. now with 11K I guess you can say I too have been blessed without any issues. As mentioned with XIED's installed heat is not an issue, sure I had to experiment with several oil for the trans so I can quite the 5th gear a bit and find "N" when I want to in the end I discovered a better oil, 75W/140 Amsoil for the tranny and 20W/50 for the rest. You are correct riding season is not over yet, sure I might have to track the weather closely but I normally ride through the winter not long rides but still ride. If it's sunny and dry dress accordingly and ride.

Mine has 7000 mi on it and no problems so far, other than hitting a deer. Got it all back together and it runs great.
