Just had 30k service done and tech calls me just before closing last night to tell me they are hearing a noise in the primary that bothers them. Says since I have extended warranty did I want them to crack it to see what problem might be. Soooo they cracker her open and sure enough the inner primary mainshaft bearing damaged.
They fixed it and had her ready for me to pick up first thing this morning!
Much quieter running now than before. Had told them I was hearing some racket when in neutral and clutch out, it's gone now.
Fixed under warranty, no charge. Went straight to the owner and complemented his service staff.
No other issues have cropped up on this scoot yet and it was paid for the day I took it home so guess I will keep her awhile (like until she rusts into the garage floor).

mine has been fairly trouble free and never has stranded me in 70K. i often think no major mods and riding it in a common sense fashion is the answer for both longevity and reliability. like daddy said" once u have to pay for them tires you wont be so quick ta squeal em!"

Just turned 40K on my Ultra. Fairing brackets, and starting issues under waranty. Starting issue was some filter in the gas tank, quick disconnect of the gas line to tank was a quick fix, problem only arose every 5k or so. Just needed new front motor mount, and y pipe on exhaust. Fixed under ESP.
