Default mustang solo is cracking

have a mustang solo with backrest ,4-5 years old. love the seat but noticed, two cracks on the seat pan and some rust about a half an inch long. its where the cup for the backrest ties into the seat pan (i think)..do you think mustang would replace the pan or any ideas what i should do? iam afraid to ride on it like it is.

What should you do? It's time to buy a new seat.

I would call Mustang and ask them about it. If they won't replace it on their dime I'm sure they can give you a good price on replacing the pan. I had them recover my solo and passenger seats and the price wasn't to bad, they came back looking like new.
