Today I purchased the replacement 2 replacement springs for my 2004 Electra Glide. The part number use to be 90707-00 now it is 90707-00A. My problem is the fact that the spring is coiled in the opposite direction (its not the same spring) I cant for the life of my dumb *** figure out how to install it. I wonder if anyone else has encountered this issue.
Thanks
I wish I could help you, because I looked at the new spring when they first came out and said " WTF?". I have maintained my drop of oil routine once a year since I replaced my last spring back around 08 and have yet to have one fail. I just did a search of the garage to see if I had any of the old style springs around to send you and I can't find a single spring. If I come across any, I'll send you a set free of charge..... unless you live close enough to buy me a beer.
