Has anyone been able to get a kit to install a adjustable back rest on a 09 ??? I have tryed 3 dealership know on seems to have one

 

Order on line and save 20%...Try Chicago HD....I just ordered about $1000 worth of accessories and the shipping was only $27.00...Can't beat it...

 

Mine are still on order also. In the catalog, it did say that at least the mounting kit was not to be available until Sept 08. And that propably really meant Oct or Nov.

 

Both the mounting hardware and the backrests show not available and a future delivery date of 09-30-08

Yeah I'm waiting on mine too.

 

I had a manual adjusting back rest on my 06 Ultra. I looked into the adjustable backrest and cost much more and they wanted 2 hours of labor to put it on. I bought another manual adjusting backrest and put it on myself. Took me about 30 min. I found that once I find the right spot for a backrest I never move it again anyway. Works great and I saved the money for other bling.

 

Ditto, just did the same yesterday, the 09 manual adjust are available now for 09's.

 

Ive had one on order for 6 weeks,called HD customer service last week...they are "scheduled" for delivery by the end of Sept..

will this help my upper back pain or is it time to change the bars?

 

Also want to mention that they moved the the mount further back, and it is more comfortable than it was on my 07.
