Life is good when you dont even have to say "good by" to your old bike. Just hop on the new horse and ride away into the sunset! I kept my Softail when I bought my new Street Glide. I was not even going to leave the Softail at the dealer and ride the SG home....until I came to the realization that after I sign the paper work the SG would be just as much mine as the Softail. Needless to say, I road the Street Glide home, and went back the next day to pick up my SE Deuce! I hate letting any of my bikes sleep over someone elses house for the night.

PS: good luck with the new bike Bro....that is a sweet paint job. I wish you many happy healthy miles to come.....but now did you learn your lesson about taking in your older bike for service when your thinking about trading up!

Paint scheme is #6/200
Congratulations! Did something similar about 6 months ago. Never looked back. Love my 08 SG

Sweet paint scheme. #6 of 200, unlikely you will cross paths with another one. Enjoy......

Congrats and you'll love it! Great long distance creature comfort. I made the transission about a year ago and I found the top heavy front fairing and top heavy rear tour pack (on my Ultra) a concern for slow speed handling. That said and once gotten use to, me and the Mrs have enjoyed thousands of miles of comfort and enjoyable riding.
